Big Tex Choice Award Winner: Fried Jell-O

The creators of Fried Jell-O stop by Good Day to explain how they make the sweet treat.

Ruth Hauntz and business partners Juan and Brent Reaves say the recipe is not as easy as it sounds.

Cherry-flavored Jell-O is wrapped in a special dough, that's flash-fried and then dusted with powdered sugar. It's topped off with whipped cream and a cherry.

You can try it at the State Fair of Texas, September 30 - October 23.
