Actor promises laughs, awkward love story in "The Big Sick"

A new relationship takes an unexpected turn when a woman is suddenly hospitalized. The man in her life ends up bonding with her parents.  

Actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani stopped by the Good Day studios to talk about the film that's based on his real-life relationship with his wife.

The movie also stars actors Ray Romano and Holly Hunter. "The Big Sick' is in theaters now.
