First it's HOT, then it's NOT!
No changes to the forecast next two days...justy plenty of heat and humidity. It may get a bit less humid PM, but it may also get a degree or two hotter...so the result is the same Heat Index near or just above 100.
The cold front we are waiting on will still arrive most areas Saturday AM-Midday. Showers and a few storms (nothing big) will arrive NW counties late Friday night and move through (scattered...40% coverage) most of North Texas by early afternoon Saturday. We should see most areas rain free (except south) by later afternoon hours. Highs will stay in the mid 80s..excpet south where it will be closer to 90.
Saturday night looks comfy and cooler...most of us in the 60s, then a quick rebound into the upper 80s (near normal) Sunday. Just a very low shower chance south.
Early next week, we warm right back up into the low 90s...and humid ahead of our next front Wednesday. That will STALL across the area mid-week with additional shower chances...and temps back in the 80s, but still humid. We'll take it! After all, it's still "summer".
