True Fall Weather Waits Until Next Week!

Mom always said to "accentuate the positive", so we are POSITIVE that this weekend won't be as hot as this week was! (but only by a hair!)
After low clouds burn off, it's another day in the mid 90s BUT it won't be upper 90s. There's your positive! Heat Index still near 100. There is a small disturbance that will arrive this afternoon that may be enough to pop an isolated shower. We'll keep coverage at 10%.
This weekend will still be HUMID with lows in the 70s and highs in the low to a few mid 90s. Also rain-free with SE winds 8-15 mph.
Next week gets a LOT more interesting, starting Tuesday as a front approaches. Some showers/storms are possible that day...especially west and north, but the highest rain chances will be from Tue. night into Thursday AM as the front slows down and moves through. Severe weather isn't really a big risk here...just some needed rainfall. Highs will drop from near 90 Tuesday into the upper 70s by Thursday! Finally Fall!
