The Heat REPEATS...then RETREATS!
Just when you thought summer was back...BAM! Another cold front squashes the heat!
After a HOT, humid weekend...it's a HOT, humid start to the week. Mid to upper 90s today and upper 90s tomorrow with just a few afternoon clouds. Heat Index just under advisory criteria (103-104).
The fun starts later Tuesday night with storms in Oklahoma (with a cold front) dropping south. A few gusty storms may impact northern counties overnight or early Wednesday. They should die off and then more will develop Wed. PM, although not everyone will get them. Highs low 90s (higher south).
By Thursday, it looks as if we are into the drier air. Rain chances are mainly south & west of the MPLEX with highs close to 90! Those temps should hold into Friday as well...assuming the front does head more south. If it stalls, rain chances could be higher.
Another decent disturbance arrives later this weekend...looking like Sunday with a better chance for showers and storms, along with continued below average temps!
