Temps Creeping Back Up!

A bit more like August, but fortunately not "The Full Monty!"

Clouds should break up more today, allowing temps to heat into the lower 90s with rather high humidity and a stiff breeze. The HEAT INDEX may get close to 100. As for shower chances, they do exist NW counties through midday.

Next couple of days will be close to "normal". Mid 90s. Humid. Partly sunny. Later Thursday, a few showers are possible PM SE counties as a disturbance moves in off the Gulf. That same disturbance will push into NTX Friday with the HIGHEST shower/storm chances this week (40%). Some will have heavy downpours midday-PM hours.

This weekend is back to more warm, humid weather (low 90s) with a few isolated PM storms each day. There are indications that HIGH pressure may begin to build later next week...which might mean higher temps to begin September.
