Summer is Down for the count!
An almost "Fall-Like" forecast for days to come!
After almost triple digits y'day, the cold front has arrived with showers and a few storms this morning, esp. from the MPLEX north and west. This area of showers will last into early rush hour before diminishing. Clouds may break a bit PM...with highs ranging from the 80s north/west to the 90s south/east. New storms may pick up for areas DFW south (30%) in the afternoon as well.
We will be into the cooler air overnight and Thursday with lots of clouds and an uptick in scattered showers late tonight into the morning hours. Highest rain coverage tomorrow will be from DFW south and west. Clouds will keep highs in the 80s.
Friday actually looks nicest with some partial sun, and highs just above 90. There are low shower chances south as a potential storm "Harvey" heads to the Texas Gulf coast.
That storm will determine our weekend weather. The highest likelihood of RAIN will be areas southeast of Dallas. If it stays near the Gulf, we may not see much rain at all...but if it tracks inland near I-35/45...we could see higher rain coverage here. Either way, it will stay below average with a NE wind!
Early next week looks tranquil and seasonably cool as well as NW flow continues!
