Sliding Back Into September!

Warm into the weekend. And next week too!

With sun squeezing through high clouds, we should get close to 90 today. A storm with rain for far west Texas will continue to sink into Mexico and barely impact us. There may be a few isolated showers for areas west/south later today and this evening.

Friday finds a cold front headed into NTX. Extra clouds should lower highs a few degrees while we'll keep a low (20%) chance for showers until the front clears. Best chances will be from DFW south.

This weekend is dry. A little cooler Saturday AM, but sun will again push us back into the mid 80s PM. Sunday will be quite warm, if not HOT in the low 90s.

We'll stay in the 90s Monday as another weak cold front heads in, again briefly dropping us back into the upper 80s Tuesday...then back into the 90s Wed-Thu.

There are signs of a decent break late next week...but that's still a long way from here!
