Severe storms possible this evening
Another muggy and warm day across North Texas as temps rise into the upper 80s and feel like the 90 degree mark.
That warmth and moisture out ahead of tonight's front is going to set us up for some possibly strong to severe storms by late tonight/early tomorrow.
The biggest threats with these storms will be damaging winds and large hail, but we can't rule out a brief tornado as the line barrels through the area. If we see thunderstorms develop out ahead of the line, the threat for a tornado increases. Storms will enter areas to our west by 10PM, the central areas by midnight, and areas east by early Sunday morning.
Sunday will bring cooler and dryer air to the area with highs only in the 70s.
The rest of the workweek looks dry with highs in the 70s and 80s until the next front approaches by next weekend.
