Ready for a Return to Winter?
One more unsettled day...then a last "gasp" of Winter!
Mild air and cloudy skies to start. The first chance for showers or a storm will be northern counties this AM. Some hail would be possible in strongest storms if they develop. Coverage should be no more than 30%.
By midday-PM with a little heating, we could see stronger showers/storms esp. DFW and south as a cold front plunges in from the north. Not EVERYONE will see them, but a few could be severe (wind, hail).
Tonight, the showers come to an end as strong NORTH winds take over. Lows in the 40s will give wind chills in the 30s by AM.
Clouds break quickly Saturday AM. Even with sun, we'll still struggle to get out of the 50s most areas.
By Sunday AM, lows in 30s will be common. Some frost/light freeze would be possible western co's, although we'll get back to 60 with sunshine.
One last cold start Monday...then a windy warm up all week. From 60s to 70s to 80s...which will also yield more rain chances by Thursday.
