Major Storm System..Severe Weather Possible
24 stormy hours.
Scattered showers this AM as temperatures slowly rise on a gusty SSE wind into the low 70s PM.
A stronger disturbance arrives midday-PM with extra showers and storms, some with heavy rainfall.
The MAIN event is overnight (2-8am) as a strong Pacific cold front and very strong jet stream sweeps across the area. The most LIKELY scenario is a squall line with 55-70 mph winds. Not everyone will have damaging winds, but they are possible, as well as isolated small tornadoes along the line.
Once they exit early Tuesday AM, we clear out on gusty SW/W winds with highs in the 60s.
Very quiet mid-week with temps near 70 Wed, falling back a bit Thu as a cold front heads in. We will fall even more as a stronger front seeps south by saturday...with low rain chances as well.
