Last Day of Heat! (For now)

Brief RELIEF in time for the weekend!

One more hot, humid day is store with mainly sunny skies and highs again mid 90 (heat index near 100). It may be a "bit" less humid.

Showers and storms are possible LATE night for NW counties, and then again from DFW north Saturday AM as the cold front heads in. The front will slow, so we will allow for a few showers to hang around through MIDDAY (2-ish) and then head into southern counties to finish the day. Skies should clear later afternoon and evening as drier air works in. Highs generally in the mid-upper 80s.

After a nice start Sunday (60s), we warm up into the upper 80s. Looks like shower chances will remain south of our area that day now.

Monday-Tuesday will return to the low 90s with increasing humidity ahead of the next front. That will have a hard time getting through next week, so as it stalls...we'll see increasing shower/storm chances by Wed-Thu. It will stay HUMID, but extra cloud cover should keep temps in the 80s those days.
