Isolated slick spots to start your Sunday

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon today for portions of North Texas. Patchy sleet (and even a few areas of thundersleet) and freezing rain continue to fall this morning and will taper off early this afternoon. Little to no accumulation is expected, but even a light glaze could cause slick spots on roadways.

Arctic air will remain in place today with highs only barely approaching the 40 degree mark. Winds will be breezy and 'feels like' temps will be in the teens and 20s.

Tonight, temps tumble back into the upper 20s and low 30s.

Temps rebound Monday as we bounce back into the 50s, then 60s Tuesday. Rain chances return Wednesday with the next weather system that puts us in the 70s with good rain chances before knocking us back into the 50s by the weekend.
