We'll have a soggy start to this week with a nicer finish!

The first round of rain will exit to our east early this morning (by 8am) with a several hour break before more showers pulse in from the southwest. While some storms later today may produce heavy rain and flooding, severe weather is not expected.

Tuesday we'll still see a chance for showers and storms, although coverage will be lower than today. HOWEVER, a much stronger disturbance will trigger more widespread rain/storms (some severe) on Wednesday.

All indications are this system should move out Thursday with clouds breaking up to end the week and start the weekend! Temps should be seasonable upper 70s to low 80s. Gulf moisture returns Sunday with extra clouds, and just low shower chances at this point.
