Chilly and Wet!

The next disturbance increases rain chances for the rest of the weekend. Expect widespread showers and some storms by Sunday night. This system exits and a brief warm up takes place on the last day of the year. A strong, but dry cold front ushers in much colder air to start 2019. By Wednesday, another storm system may bring a wintry mix for some parts of North Texas. No accumulation is expected.
