A Little Drier...and Hotter!

Image 1 of 2

Relatively quiet until...you guessed it! The weekend!

It's a typical July forecast where heat and humidity combine (especially with the relatively moist ground from recent rains). There will be more sun the next few days to start us off which will push highs into the mid 90s today and tomorrow and mid to upper 90s to end the week. Heat Index will be well over 100 each day...getting close to 105 by late week.

As for rain chances, they do look very low BUT not zero each afternoon. Today could have a stray shower/storm almost anywhere and next two days are very low as well.

They do get a but higher Friday afternoon but still only 20%.

The pattern shifts this weekend as a weak cold front combined with winds shifting to the NORTH aloft increase storm chances considerably. We have 30% coverage each day although it could end up being higher one of those days (leaning toward Sunday). Temps Sunday will be down as well with added cloud cover!
