Doctor shares his story of permanently moving to Haiti in new book

When a terrible earthquake leveled much of Haiti 10 years ago, Dr. David Vanderpool was among the first to respond and provide care for the people there. Three years later, he sold his private medical practice in Tennessee and moved to Haiti with his wife. His new memoir called Live Beyond shares the story of his unexpected move and the non-profit organization he started with the same name.
