Luka Doncic writes letter to Mavs fans after trade
Luka Dončić wrote a letter to Mavericks fans on Sunday after news broke that he was going to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. Read it here.
"He wanted to retire here. He was supposed to be the next Dirk. The fans are let down and, yeah man, it's just sad," he said.
Finesse says he won't stop being a Mavs fan, but can understand why people are jumping ship.
"I think that the team and the franchise and the ownership completely betrayed the fans. Completely betrayed them and in order to get that trust back it's going to take a lot more," he said. "Ticket sales will be down. Jersey sales will be down. People will be boycotting the team. There's going to be a lot of stuff going on."
Finesse says he will still support Luka as a player.
