Bolden scores 31, 4 in OT, as DeSoto beats Cibolo Steele

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Marques Bolden scored a game-high 31 points, including four in overtime, as DeSoto defeated Cibolo Steele 58-53 on Friday in a Class 6A semifinal in San Antonio.
 
Bolden is regarded as the top high school center in the nation with scholarship offers from Kentucky, Duke and Oklahoma. He was dominant on both ends of the court as he finished with nine offensive and eight defensive rebounds, three blocks and a steal.
 
DeSoto (32-4) got 11 points from Tristen Wallace and eight points from Chase Winchester. Jordan Berry added four rebounds for the Eagles.
 
Steele (32-4) was led by Kijana Love who scored 20 points while converting eight of 11 field goals and all seven free throws. Gerald Liddell scored 10 points while Elijah Payne added 11 points for Steele.
