No one was hurt when shots were fired at a Downtown Dallas rooftop party.

Dallas police said an off-duty officer reported the gunfire Sunday night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Griffin Street, near the West End.

The shots were fired while people were partying around hotel’s rooftop swimming pool. The suspect was mad that someone hit with a water balloon so he pulled out a gun and fired several rounds.

Responding officers took two people into custody for questioning but they were later released.

The officers also seized four firearms.
