DALLAS - A man was badly hurt in an overnight shooting in northwest Dallas.
Officers found the victim early Wednesday in a Mercedes car that had several bullet holes. The car had crashed into a tree on Lombardy Lane, near Interstate 35E.
Police said the victim had just left a nearby nightclub and was following a friend. That friend saw the gunshots in his rearview mirror and then saw his friend’s car go off the road.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for surgery. His condition is unknown.
Police think the suspect was in a white SUV.
They are reviewing video from the nightclub to try to identify that suspect and a motive.
