Truck narrowly misses clerk after smashing into Flower Mound liquor store

FLOWER MOUND, Texas - The driver of a pickup truck was hurt after crashing into a liquor store in Flower Mound.

It happened just before 10 p.m. Monday at FM Beverage on Cross Timbers Road. The silver Chevy truck ended up about halfway inside the store.

Employees said the driver of the truck appeared to lose control. He crossed a median, went through a row of buses, hit two parked vehicles and then went into the building.

The driver was unconscious when he was taken away in an ambulance. Police are still investigating to determine what caused him to crash.

The clerk, who is normally at the counter, had stepped away to help a customer. Neither was hurt.
