Truck crashes into East Oak Cliff apartment building

Crews worked to remove a truck that crashed into an apartment building in East Oak Cliff.

The crash happened Tuesday just after 2 p.m. at the Overton Park Apartments off East Overton Road.

The truck that crashed into the building went completely inside.

Dallas Fire-Rescue says the driver was the only person that was hurt and taken to the hospital, but they did not release his condition.

It's unclear if anyone was inside that apartment, but no other injuries were reported.

Police are still investigating the crash. It's unclear if the driver will face any charges.
