Threat prompts evacuation at UT Southwestern

DALLAS - Police are investigating after someone threatened a shooting at UT Southwestern.

According to the university, a threatening letter was discovered Monday morning. The E building was evacuated as a precaution.

“University police are actively investigating the threat and patrolling the campus. No immediate threats have been identified,” the university said.

Police will continue to investigate the source of the threat.
