TCU remains undefeated as storms move in
The TCU Horned Frogs rolled over Kansas Jayhocks Saturday night in Fort Worth, with a final score of 43-0 and still undefeated.
Because of the lop-sided score and the chance for severe weather, referees decided to run the clock, except on change of possession to shorten the game.
Storms expected to hit DFW Saturday, did not deter TCU fans from their homecoming game against Kansas. Fans filled tent after tent outside Amon G. Carter stadium before kickoff, enjoying the weather but keeping an eye on the forecast.
"We drove out from Dallas, so we've been watching especially when we're heading home. I think it's going to storm a little bit," said Catlin Mastorakos.
The temperature was in the low 80s by game time. Fans say they brought rain gear, but were more focused on performance on the field.
"We're watching to make sure, because we're supposed to have some storms later, but we're going to stick it out probably until it starts getting bad," said Kenny Woodward.
