Tarrant County constable under investigation for shooting family dog

A Tarrant County deputy constable is under investigation for killing a pit bull mix at an apartment complex in Fort Worth.

According to the dog owner, the constable was there Friday to serve an eviction notice. When the owner opened the door, the officer fired shots at the barking dog, Chyna, and killed her.

The sheriff's office has not given details about what happened. However, they did confirm the shooting is under an internal affairs investigation.
