Suspect surrenders in fatal Arlington hit-and-run

A man surrendered to Arlington police in a deadly hit-and-run crash.

Nghi Pham, 71, was killed Wednesday night. He was hit as he walked home on South Collins.

Police arrested 47-year-old Kennedy Pham early Friday morning. Kennedy Pham is jailed on a $20,000 bond.

Police say Kennedy Pham showed up at police headquarters and told investigators he believed that he hit the victim.

His car was searched and he was arrested.

Police say while they have the same last name, the victim and suspect are not related.
