Suspect sought in Oak Cliff DART bus stop shooting

Police are looking for Khalid Williams in connection with a recent murder.

Police need help finding a man suspected of shooting another man in the head at DART bus stop in South Oak Cliff.

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Monday at the bus stop at Polk Street and Marvin D. Love Freeway. When police arrived, they found a man, later identified as 34-year-old Rayshaunn McLennan, with a gunshot wound. He later died at a hospital.

A witness told police 35-year-old Khalid Williams shot McLennan after confronting him about a recent argument. According to the murder warrant, the witness said the two "had been 'beefing' for a while over a 'lick' that was unsuccessful."

The witness said Williams tucked his pistol into his waistband after the shooting and calmly walked away.
