Students hurt in Fort Worth school bus crash
FORT WORTH, Texas - Two students were hurt when their Northwest ISD school bus was broadsided by a pickup truck in Fort Worth.
It happened Tuesday morning at Alta Vista Road and State Highway 170. According to early reports, the pickup truck driver ran a red light.
There were about 12 students on board at the time from Byron Nelson High School and Steele Accelerated High School.
Two of the students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. Others were treated at the scene.
The school district said it contacted parents of those who were involved.
