Shooting victim dies after crashing into Dallas fire station

DALLAS - A shooting victim who crashed his pickup truck into the garage doors of a South Dallas firehouse has died.

Police got a call about the incident at Station 44 on Frank Street just south of Fitzhugh Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Kevin Liggins, 28, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. He later died from his injuries.

Investigators are still trying to determine what happened to Liggins and who shot him. Police have not released any information about a possible shooter.
