Police searching for suspects in officer-involved shooting

Investigators are analyzing two active crime scenes in South Oak Cliff. Police are looking for a group of people who, they say, tried to run officers over with a car Saturday night.

Near the intersection of Sunnyvale Street and Custer Drive, our crews saw a police car, behind the crime scene tape, with the driver's-side door open and the glass shattered.

An abandoned Nissan Armada was found about a mile away from there, near the VA North Texas Healthcare System, off Lancaster Rd.

Police have only confirmed at least one officer discharged a weapon, and no officers were injured. They are still searching for the suspects.
