Police investigate deadly east Dallas shooting

One person is dead and another in the hospital after a shooting early Sunday morning in the White Rock area of Dallas.

Police said someone shot a man as he sat in a car outside an apartment complex on Mccree Rd. A female passenger in that car jumped into the driver's seat and sped off. She lost control and crashed into several parked cars and a fence.  Paramedics took the man to the hospital where he died. The woman was also taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police are still looking for the shooter. They believe the person left the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
