Police investigate deadly crash in northwest Dallas

DALLAS - One person is dead after two cars collided in northwest Dallas early Sunday morning.

It happened around 1 a.m. in the 3100 block of Webb Chapel Road.

Police said the driver of a pickup was speeding when it struck another car.

The person from the car died at the scene and the driver of the pickup was taken into custody, police said.

Police said the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
