Plane makes emergency landing after departing from Dallas Executive Airport
A pilot and junior pilot were unhurt after making an emergency landing in South Dallas Saturday morning.
The plane took off from Dallas Executive Airport. The junior pilot was flying at the time when the plane lost power some time before 9:00 a.m. They made an emergency landing in the 1700 block Wagonwheel Trail.
The landing site is about 5 1/2 miles east of Dallas Executive and about 10 miles south of Downtown Dallas.
Police say the aircraft's owner uses the plane to fly banners. The FAA is investigating.
