Passenger killed in alcohol-related crash in Dallas
DALLAS - A man died when his car was broadsided by another vehicle in the Red Bird area of southern Dallas.
Police said it happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday as two men in a Buick were turning into an apartment complex on Ledbetter and Woodhollow drives.
A Dodge Challenger was speeding down Ledbetter and hit the Buick on the right passenger side.
Both men in the Buick suffered critical injuries. One of them, 42-year-old Eric Hall, later died at the hospital. The men in the other car were not seriously hurt.
Police believe the drivers of both vehicles were intoxicated. One was given a DWI and the other was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
