Police suspect alcohol was a factor when a truck slammed into a home in Carrollton Tuesday night.

The wreck happened near the Bush Turnpike and Frankford Road before 10 p.m. The driver of a white pickup drove over a curb, broke through a fence and ran into the side of a home. The impact caused a gas leak before officials were able to shut it off.

A police spokesperson says there were people inside the home, but no one inside was seriously injured.

One man in an ambulance was being questioned by police.
