Greenville police said an investigation into a child's death led them to arrest two sisters.

Emergency crews were called to Prime Stop gas station around 11 a.m. Monday and found an unresponsive baby that couldn’t be revived.

During the investigation, detectives learned the baby girl born in November may have died at a home a few miles away. They searched that home.

Two women, identified as 20-year-old Shawn Flynn and 27-year-old Stephanie Flynn, were arrested hours later for tampering with evidence and allegedly moving a human corpse. Shawn is the baby's mother.

The two sisters are being held at the Hunt County jail. Their bond was set at $50,000 each.

Late Tuesday afternoon, police said they wanted to speak with the baby's father, Jeremy Stevenson. He is wanted on a parole warrant, but police also want to talk to him about the baby's death.

Detectives are still investigating the case and police said an autopsy has been ordered to determine how the baby died.
