Missing Allen mother found dead in SUV; no foul play suspected

An Allen mother of five missing since Sunday was found dead on Thursday, but police say there were no signs of foul play.

Sandy Kinnamon, 45, was found in her SUV in the back of a strip mall only about 100 yards from her Allen house. Kinnamon's husband and her sister had been driving around looking for her vehicle when they discovered it.

Police said the mother of young triplet girls was last seen Sunday picking up a prescription in Richardson. Since then, there had been no activity on her credit cards or cell phone and her family was growing increasingly concerned for her safety.

Friends had set up a Save Our Sandy Facebook page for Kinnamon and were in the process of organizing search teams when her body was found midday Thursday.

“She has been located. She was found decreased in her vehicle. The medical examiner has her and they have not ruled on cause of death,” said Sgt. Jon Felty, Allen Police. “There was no trauma. There was nothing to indicate foul play.”

The medical examiner will determine if the official cause of death was a suicide or something else.
