Man's body found in Arkansas River in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police in Tulsa say a man's body has been found in the Arkansas River on the city's east side.

Police told reporters that a pedestrian spotted the body about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and it was recovered just more than an hour later.

Police say the body is that of a white male, but it has not been identified and authorities did not know how long it had been in the river.
