Man shot following confrontation at Dallas homeless camp

DALLAS - A man is in serious condition after being shot in South Dallas overnight.

Officers found the victim on the side of Coombs Street near Interstate 45 and Cesar Chavez Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police believe the shooting followed a confrontation at a homeless camp. They are interviewing witnesses to learn more about the suspect and a motive.

No arrests have been made.
