Man is shot after resisting alleged robbers in Trinity Groves area
One man is seriously hurt after a robbery and shooting in the Trinity Groves area of west Dallas.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Dallas police said.
Two men tried to mug a couple near the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, police said.
When the man resisted, the alleged robbers shot him and got away. The victim got in his own car and stopped at a nearby parking lot to call for help.
The victim was rushed to Methodist Dallas Medical Center in serious condition. Dallas police are investigating.
