A man is charged with the murder of a recent college graduate in Dallas.

A grand jury indicted Jeremy Todd Meeks for the murder of University of Texas Dallas graduate student Lin Wang.

She was stabbed to death in her North Dallas apartment on Sept. 21. Her roommate was also stabbed but survived the attack.

Meeks’ family said he has a history of drug abuse and mental illness. He was later arrested on a burglary warrant.

But Dallas police said he confessed to the attacks.
