Major crash shuts down parts of I-30 in Arlington

Police in Arlington are working a major crash that shut down part of I-30 early Sunday morning.

Officers on scene said a driver was thrown from an SUV after colliding with a car around 3:00 a.m.

Police said both drivers are in critical condition.

A person who got out of their vehicle to help, was hit by another car, and taken to the hospital, according to police.

While police were working the scene, another SUV driver hit the back of a patrol car.
Police are trying to determine if that person was driving drunk.
