A 3-year-old little girl had an extra special birthday thanks to a Dallas ice cream shop.

Howdy Homemade threw a party for Mi’Racle Jones. Lots of people showed up to wish her a happy birthday.

The shop stepped in because Mi’Racle’s mom wanted a place that was inclusive to her daughter. She was born with Down syndrome and Howdy Homemade employs a special-needs staff.

“I said, ‘Hey you want to have a party?’ She’s like, “I really don’t have any friends or family.’ And so I just kind of said we’re going to throw a party and employees and everyone started talking,” said owner Tom Landis.

Thanks to a post on social media, dozens of people showed up to celebrate with ice cream, live music and superhero appearances. Strangers also mailed in and dropped off gifts for the toddler.

Mi’Racle’s mom explained that she was as her name suggests – a miracle.

“It was a high-risk pregnancy. I didn’t know if she was going to live or if I was going to live,” Anna Jones said.

She said she is grateful for all the support from the community.
