Grand Prairie man wins $1 million on Texas Lottery scratch off ticket
A Grand Prairie man had plenty to be thankful for when he won $1 million on a scratch off last week.
Kehinde Akinyodewon claimed the top $1 million prize playing the scratch ticket game Texas Lottery Gold.
Akinyodewon bought the winning ticket at G P Passport in Grand Prairie. That store is now eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
Lottery officials said Akinyodewon won the first of five top prizes on the Gold scratch off. He won the scratch off game just two days before Thanksgiving.
