Gear Up to End Hunger ride in Fort Worth
Cyclists gathered at the Fort Worth Water Gardens Saturday morning to kick off a weekend effort to end hunger.
The Gear Up to End Hunger event includes two, ten and 30-mile courses on Saturday and a 100k course on Sunday. The courses cover the area of downtown Fort Worth, the Cultural District, Clearfork and Trinity Park. The 100k ride also circles Texas Motor Speedway.
The event supports the Tarrant Area Food Bank and is a part of Hunger Action Month.
Fort Worth Mayor, Betsy Price led the cyclists on the ride. Fox 4’s Tim Ryan was also there for the event with Mayor Price.
