The southbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Fort Worth are closed because of a fiery crash.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday near Berry Street. An SUV burst into flames after colliding with a pickup truck. Then there was another accident in the backup on the service road.

A total of eight people were hurt, nearly all had “green” or minor injuries. One person’s condition was listed as “yellow,” MedStar officials said.

All traffic is being forced to exit on Morningside Drive. Drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route or expect delays.
