DPD: Man intentionally run over, killed by long-time partner
Dallas police said a woman confessed to intentionally running over her long-time partner and killing him Saturday afternoon.
Officers arrested 39-year-old Lakinta Cosby and charged her with murder.
Surveillance video allegedly shows her driving a white SUV. She makes a U-turn and then drives toward a man on the sidewalk in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr .Boulevard.
The victim, 25-year-old Sherron Berry, was taken to Baylor Hospital and pronounced dead.
Police said Cosby admitted intentionally hitting Berry with her SUV. She is being held on a $100,000 bond.
