DEVELOPING: Man transported to hospital after nearly drowning in Irving pool

UPDATE 2: Irving police confirm the 36-year-old victim was in the pool with his niece when he went under. Police say the girl turned her back on her uncle while playing with some other kids. He was at the bottom of the pool's deep end when she turned back around. Emergency crews pulled him out of the pool when they arrived and began administering CPR. His condition is still unknown.

UPDATE: First responders in Irving are transporting a man to the hospital, after he nearly drowned in a pool. It happened Saturday afternoon at the Woodside Villas apartments in Irving. Police confirm the man is 36-years-old, but have yet to give any more identifying information.
