The Dallas Zoo held a special birthday celebration Wednesday morning for its baby giraffe. Kopano is turning 1.

The giraffe celebrated with a special cake make out of pumpkins and pineapple and a “Happy Birthday” sign made out of bamboo, which is one of his favorite treats.

And of course, lots of visitors stopped by the habitat.

Kopano, which means “united” in Botswana, is now 10-feet tall.

He is the older brother of Kipenzi, a popular baby giraffe that died at the zoo in April.
